District 5450 Raised over $50,000 to help end Polio
100's of Rotarians gathered to hear RI President Barry Rassin inspire us to end Polio. Rotary was able to meet the challenge of raising $50 million (not in one evening) and Bill Gate's Foundation matched it 2 to 1 sending the Rotary Foundation $100 million to work with to end Polio - 3 countries Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria. Nigeria has no cases reported in the past 2 1/2 year.
