(1) IMPORTANT REMINDER: Although Tuesday, October 31st is the fifth Tuesday, ASR will be meeting in person at Thrive Workplace. There will be some exciting updates on projects; a big birthday to celebrate; and a general discussion on where Arvada Sunrise Rotary is headed. Hopefully, you will all be able to join in person. If not, highlighted below is the information to join the Zoom session.
(2) Next week, on Thursday, November 9 is the AWRSAY GET IT DONE BREAKFAST at Red Rocks Community College, Lakewood Campus. If you have not yet signed up there is still time. You can register atAWRSAY GET IT DONE BREAKFAST, or let me know and I’ll get you registered.
(3) If you can find available time, please volunteer for a time slot at Santa House (see Mike's email for details). This year it will be from Tuesday, November 28th through Saturday, December 2 at Storyline Church, West 64th Avenue and Indiana Street. (4) A few weeks back, Mike and John met with representatives of the other Arvada service clubs. This included the Arvada Rotary noon club, Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis, Arvada Optimist, and Arvada Lions. This was an inaugural meeting intended to bring together local service clubs and explore the possible opportunities to pool resources and manpower.
