Steve was a faithful, hard working Rotarian. He will be sorely missed.

He leaves his wife Sally Ann, a retired USAF Brigadier General, three sons Trevor(Michelle), Lindsay(Jessica), and Christian.

Steve Eaves was born in Honolulu Hawaii on August 30 1944, and graduated from the University of Hawaii.

After graduating he joined the United States Air Force as a second lieutenant, serving  for 22 years. He was stationed in Germany, Korea, Southeast Asia and in the continental United States. He was a Weapons System Operator in the F 4 fighter. After a memorable combat action in 1972 his courage and leadership was rewarded with the Silver Star medal. He also earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, three Meritorious Service medals and 18 Air medals. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in several duty tours before retirement in 1989 as a Lieutenant Colonel.

He entered civilian life as an educator and high school administrator at Career Enrichment Park in Westminster CO and at Westminster High School. During his career he earned his PhD in Education Administration. He retired from his second career in 2006.
