(2) The Arvada Rotary Club is requesting two slots at RYLA [Rotary Youth Leadership Award] and YoungRYLA each. They are extending an invitation to our club to have us recommend candidates for these awards. They are also inviting us to nominate students for their scholarship. Should anyone be interested, John can forward applications. We are looking for someone to lead the project.

(3) We have a new membership application from Patrio McKenize. He has a background in money management. Barring any objections he will be inducted at our in-person meeting on April 23.

(5) April 18 - Dining Out For Life - dine at any of the 130 participating restaurants for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, or take out and 25% (!) of your check will be donated to Project Angel Heart!

(6) Northglenn High School is looking for volunteers on April 30 to be on a panel with others to judge students' presentations to address "Youth Initiatives for Refugee Support". Please see Heidi's email for more details

(7) AWRSAY [Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth] awards ceremony to be held Tuesday, April 30, at Arvada West High School north entrance, registration 5:30 pm, award ceremony 6:30 to 8 pm. No charge, just show up. This will be our fifth Tuesday function so all are encouraged to attend.

(8) Grant writing qualification training to be held in person on June 15 in the morning at Front Range Community College. This is an annual requirement for at least one person from the club to attend in order to qualify for writing grants. No charge but you must register at the District website: Rotary5450.org
